The Central and Southern part of the Philippines need our help.
It was almost seven days ago when Super Typhoon Odette (international name: Rai) hit Visayas, Mindanao, and some parts of Luzon including Palawan. Tonight, hundreds of thousands of families will be spending the Christmas Day without a home.
As of press time, the death toll is at 258, says the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. At least 568 people were injured while forty-seven are still missing.
Survivors and even the local government units are desperate for food, water, and other basic necessities and hygiene products.
We’ve compiled a list of Scout-led responses to help #OdettePH victims from donation drives, relief operations, and clean-up operations.
